Brief Bio

Born in 1992 in Winkler, Manitoba, and now based in the Northern community of Flin Flon, I am a visual artist whose creative journey began in an unexpected place: trades school. In 2014, while pursuing a hands-on career path, I discovered a deep passion for drawing—a discovery that opened the door to a world of artistic exploration and expression.

At the end of 2018, I took a significant step in my artistic journey by purchasing a building that now serves as my dedicated studio and workshop space. This move not only gave me room to create, but also planted the seeds for a long-term vision of integrating art into my everyday life and community.

In 2020, during the uncertainty of the global pandemic, I found certainty in love and married Joanna, my greatest supporter. We now share our life with two beautiful children who inspire and ground me daily. While life is full and often hectic, I remain committed to my practice, finding time to draw and paint amid the busyness of family and work.

My work is rooted in personal experience and influenced by the unique landscape and spirit of Northern Manitoba. Through each piece, I aim to explore the connections between people, place, and memory.
